Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Organizers: account details (name, email), fundraiser content, payout account status.
• Supporters: name, email, optional phone number, contribution details, optional message, and communication preferences.
• Participants: name, number, position/role, and photos, provided by the organizer.
• Technical: device and browser information, and analytics that help us operate the platform.

2. How we use information

We use this information to operate fundraisers, process contributions, send transactional and consented communications (for example, a recovery email for an unfinished contribution), provide dashboards, prevent fraud, and improve the platform.

3. Payment information

Card and bank details are handled by Stripe, our payment processor, under its privacy policy. MyTeamPledge does not store full card numbers.

4. Sharing

We share supporter information with the fundraiser's organizer to the extent needed to operate the fundraiser (for example, donor name and contribution details on dashboards; phone number only when the supporter consented to follow-up). We share data with service providers (such as Stripe) under contract, and as required by law.

5. Public information

Fundraiser pages publicly display participant names, numbers, positions, and photos; contribution amounts; and supporter names or messages unless the supporter chooses to contribute anonymously.

6. Communication and consent

Providing a phone number or email never by itself authorizes marketing messages. Where you opt in to communications (for example, fundraiser updates from the team), you can opt out at any time. Transactional messages (receipts, payment confirmations, security notices) are sent as needed to operate the service.

7. Children and minors

Many participants are minors. Their information is provided and controlled by their organizer (typically a coach or parent volunteer), and MyTeamPledge displays it only as part of the fundraiser the organizer created. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Organizers must obtain appropriate permissions, including for photos of minors, and parents or guardians may request removal of a participant's information at any time. 8. Retention, security, and rights

We retain records as long as needed for the service, accounting, and legal obligations, including immutable contribution history for audit purposes. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. You may request access, correction, deletion (subject to retention obligations), or export of your information, and you can delete your account subject to those obligations.

9. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to operate and improve the platform.

10. Changes and contact
