Question 1

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing to start. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no contracts — we take a 3% MyTeamPledge platform fee only when your team raises money. Standard U.S. online card processing is typically 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction through Stripe. Actual processing fees may vary based on payment method, card type, international cards, currency conversion, or other Stripe pricing factors.

Question 2

How does my team receive the money?

Accepted Answer

Every donation is processed securely through Stripe and tracked in real time in your dashboard. When you launch, you connect your team's bank account through Stripe (it takes about five minutes). From there, donations are paid out to your team's bank account automatically — typically arriving within a few business days of each contribution. Your team keeps what it raises, minus the 3% platform fee and standard card processing (typically 2.9% + $0.30 per successful transaction through Stripe). The exact fee for each contribution is disclosed at checkout.

Question 3

Can every athlete have their own fundraising page?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every athlete gets their own page with their own interactive sponsorship board, so each player can rally their own supporters.

Question 4

Can local businesses sponsor our team?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Community sponsorship gives local businesses a professional way to back your team and be recognized on your fundraiser page.

Question 5

What sports does the platform support?

Accepted Answer

16 sports and activities out of the box — baseball, softball, basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading, tennis, lacrosse, hockey, swimming, golf, marching band, color guard, wiffle ball and more — each with its own sport-specific sponsorship board.

Question 6

Can supporters donate without choosing a numbered sponsorship?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Supporters can donate any amount to an individual athlete or the whole team — no board number required.
